I doubt it's their perspective exactly. I'd guess it's something more like recognizing that trump doesn't have much of a filter, and he has a direct access to sharing his thoughts with the internet, so taking everything he says on twitter like it's an official statement of action is probably not a good idea. You can tell when a comment is prepared and when it's off the cuff pretty easily. I'm not saying he doesn't lie, but I think there's a fine line between a lie and speaking without thinking first, and that phrase is probably a recognition that the latter shouldn't be taken to mean the former. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz. They excuse off any wrong he does and have a mental gymnastics of why its ok. I definitely call these people a religious cult. They also delusionally believe any heathen of the faith is a liberal, because after all only liberals find trump to be a disgrace. Then ofc , you have the people(gov and lackeys) that know Trump is terrible and enable his piss poor behaviour. Last are the trolls.
