I'm waiting to binge it like I do everything else now. I'll probably start over at season 1 and go through it all when the full new one drops.

I'm 10 episodes in and this is so much better than the first two seasons. Even when it's meandering around it's still much more interesting than the early soap opera bs. I would watch three more seasons of just Gordon and Albert solving mysteries.

It has taken the whole season to really resolve, but most things that seemed random earlier on have turned to be relevant later. Also for people who are afraid to get into it cause they think it'll be too abstract or pretentious or artsy, it's not. The plot is coherent and super compelling on its own.

Deadly Premonition has the same mix of Twin Peaks cheesiness, intrigue and action. Has a pretty good soundtrack, too, so you'd probably enjoy it.
