Would you trust another woman's breast milk to feed a child?

Danielle Palmer, a mother from Missouri helped out thousands of texas children by donating 65 PINTS of her BREAST MILK to hurricane Harvey survivors!!

She had an excess of bottled breast milk ready to give to her son, Turett but when she saw the devastation in Texas, she knew she had to help out...

She said "We have each other's backs. We take care of each other. Breastfeeding is ahrd. Whether you're pupking or feeding or howerver it may be, it's hard. And we are like momma bears. We protect one another"

Her son Truett was born with a congenital heart problem and had to take most of his nutrition by IV that lead Danielle to FREEZE her breast mlik in the meantime. She was asked to donate some of her milk to harvey victims and she knew she had to do it as she was grateful for the situation God placed them in and gave her the opportunity to help out.

This supply will prove vital to moms who lose their own supplies during blackouts or lost pumps when they were forced out in their home. Breast milk can last up to 6 months once frozen and Guiding Star will take her milk to the survivors once tested.

The chances of illness caused by sharing breast milk are low according to the CDC

Such diseases such as HIV can be transmitted by milk but even if she was HIV positive, the chances of a child getting it would be minimal..

Would you trust someone else's breast milk to feed a child?..

So, does she know that formula is a thing? I'd think most mothers who prefer breastfeeding their baby would use formula before a stranger's breast milk.

Breast milk banks are already a thing in many regions. The mother's own milk is still the best, but if that isn't an option, another person's milk is still much, much better than formula for the baby, so if it's available, that'd be the recommendation from anyone that knows what they're talking about. It's not like the idea of using somebody else's milk is particularly new, either. Wet nurses have been around for thousands of years.

Well, if the Mom's milk is not compatible with other kids, the baby could get 'Thrush' or other bacteria or viruses:
