About a year and a half ago I saw a comedy show live, Whitney cummings, Chris hardwick, Jim gaffigan, Sarah Silverman, Marc maron, and Louie ck. Obviously, it was incredible. But Marc maron, who I had never heard of, was so boring I almost died. Granted, I was drunk as fuck, but after laughing my ass off at everybody else, he was just a big downer. Louie saved the day and killed it though.

Now I'm looking for something to watch on Netflix, and I see the show Maron and I'm like aight I'll give it a try. Watched all four seasons in about three days. Loved it. Love him. Then I watched his standup special and it was pretty good. Then a new one just so happens to drop today and I watched it and it was so good.

If you are looking for a new show to watch, watch maron, then watch his standup.

Love him. That is all.

Also, in the show he has a cat named boomer and I have a cat named boomer irl so that was crazy for me. Then boomer runs away in the show and it made me go :/ and hug real boomer tight

One of my favorite comedians. I love his style.

A few of the episodes of his show are hard for me to watch though (the ones where he's dating the younger brunette chick and a couple of the more drug-oriented ones) cause it's like watching a replay of my life.

I listen to Maron's podcast once in a while but I think he ends up sounding like a pretentious, arrogant jackass half the time.

Then again, my favorite living comedian is Doug Stanhope so take from that what you will.

I haven't listened to the podcast but that's what his entire show is about. Having a podcast and being a pretentious arrogant jackass. But he grows on you.

I just see so much of myself in him, down to the name of his cat.

I wish I could go back in time and watch his standup live knowing who he actually was.

I think I had a hard time digging his show because I watched Louie first and they're kinda similar. Both depressed, neurotic dudes who have shitty personal lives

His podcast is funny. I like him on GLOW, too.

Louie is better in like.. every way. Better show, better standup, more likable.. but there is something about Maron that just spoke to me.

Louie is like a top ten show of all time though so it's hard to compete
