Pretty fun movie overall. Liked it about the same as the first. I could've done without the sideplot of the golden people chasing them around, but it's not a big deal. 8/10 imo

So they could have just detected the anomoly remotely. It would have been a funny scene like the movie was going for and how they did Stan Lee's cameo. Or even like masterpug said, a "where are the Avengers?". Or Vision sitting around eating breakfast and seeing it on a screen and going "interesting" or some shit. IDK.
