Aesthetically speaking, my arms. They're too short.

From a functional standpoint, my leg bones will disintegrate sooner rather than later because I didn't get much needed childhood surgery and physical therapy for a congenital issue. Every day, the pain gets worse and worse.

I have fear of dental work to the point i can't even watch commercials which have anything to do with dentists, or go inside the dentist office without heavy medication to calm me down. I need a lot more than just cosmetic work.

I would give up either of my legs if it would magically fix my teeth. Hell, to magically fix even one cavity i'd rather smash my toe with a hammer than go get my tooth fixed normally.

I'm not exaggerating one bit. i have extreme fear of dentists.

Easily my height. It's pretty insane to think that my life would be 100% different if I was just a few inches taller. As it stands now it's basically a disability. I feel like people wouldn't view me any differently than they do now if I was literally in a wheelchair.

I've spent my entire life eating right, staying away from drugs/alcohol and working on my physique. I look young for my age and am physically quite fit, but none of that matters when 90% of women seem to be accompanied with a "You must be this tall to ride" sign. I still have a chance with the remaining 10% if I work hard, but I will never know what it's like to be "in demand" or be able to slut around or whatever. There is nothing I can do aside from becoming mega rich that would make me desirable to the opposite sex.

It gets worse when you realize that tall guys are far more likely to get hired or get that big raise/promotion, which doesn't even make much sense. Even other guys have a height fetish.

Well, now I have nothing else to say.

And if I wanted to be more specific, it would be a laundry list of stuff, all of which I complain about so frequently, I'm sure it's been heard before. I mean, where do you begin with the horrible appearance I was born with, and can't change? Let's start with how broad my shoulders are, which are wider than a football quarterback's. Or how my body seems to build muscle way too easily, which means my arms always look pretty big. It's ridiculous. Even someone I knew once described them as "bulbous". Or how about my hands? Someone else I know once pointed out how large they are... And they are. And masculine, too. Thick, big hands which force me into trying to hide them much the same way Uncle Jack does on Always Sunny, but for a completely different reason. Or how about my legs, which alone are very muscular and masculine? Nothing slender or beautiful about them. On top of that, my knees are the biggest, and boniest knees ever. Unmistakably masculine. Or my face, which is blessed with thick eyebrows, and a masculine jawline. Or how about my neck, which is pretty thick as well? My hips, waist, and torso are pretty masculine as well. I'm not as short as I'd like to be either. Right now, I'm 5'5. And 136 lbs, last I was forcefully weighed. ¬_¬ I wish I could be closer to 100 lbs, but I'm pretty fat, too. And my feet are huge, too. I wish they were smaller, but unfortunately, I have size 10-11 feet. Every - single - little - thing about my body, I hate. And there's nothing I can do about it. Nothing I can do to change it. All of these things, I'll just have to live with until I die. In the meantime, as I live, I can look at other luckier people, wishing I had half the things they do. Constantly thinking, "I wish I had that" and constantly hating my appearance.

I think rejecting anyone for any reason is reasonable, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't suck when you're a guy that's regularly rejected for something superficial that you have no control over.

I also don't find the fat comparison fair. It's the first thing most guys think of to compare since it's about on par for unattractiveness with a short male, but being fat isn't some unchangeable thing like height is. You can always lose the weight if you're willing to work at it for a bit.

What can I do? Wear lifts or something, but of course I'll eventually be exposed and then I'd be made fun of more than if I had just been honest about my lack of height.

I think the shorter you are, the more used you are to people being taller than you, so you end up desiring people even taller. Like, since it becomes something you end up wanting so much, you end up wanting it more. I think that's why the shorter girls end up being the ones with a strangely demanding requirement for height.

Compare this to a guy I heard about who was something like 6'5, and he sought out the shortest girls he could. When asked about it, he said he liked to manhandle them in bed, to which his friend was like, "You're fucking huge, you could manhandle anyone." And he could, but he still preferred the shortest girls he could find.

I just think the demands people have for height get more extreme the taller or shorter they are.

That actually makes a lot of sense to me. I never really thought about it that way. I think after a certain point the height differential gets hella awkward. Like if they're out in public, it's like the dude is walking around with his kid or something, haha.

But it seems like taller is always better in their eyes, no matter what the girl's height is. Maybe until it gets to the 6'6" and beyond point though, that's the only time I can see it starting to hinder a guy in the dating game.
