I'm on the 5x5 routine

Last week I squatted up to 225lbs for the full 5 sets of 5 and felt really good afterwards.

This week I've tried 3 times and I can barely even hit 5 sets of 5 for 185lbs. Like wtf?

I'm still getting good sleep and I think I'm eating enough. I'm 170lbs so I feel like 225 should be fairly easy at that weight.

depends on your size. Basic rule, get 1g protein per lb you are if you are trying to add on muscle

Stress, lack of water, poor nutrition even if calories are reasonable, general low motivation. Sometimes you just have bad days/weeks. Don't think about it too much unless it persists.

You might just not be feeling it that particular day. It happens. A million things outside of the gum contribute to it. Don't worry unless it's happening all the time.

Just do a deload week, take an extra rest day, or try doing a different exercise that day.

Also, it sounds like you're just starting. You may need more time to recover.

Still recovering, are getting sick, ejaculated alot recently, was distracted, slight shift in form, etc. There are lots of reasons for changes in strength from week to week it's not a purely uphill trajectory.

Keep your form good and work with where you are, and you will eventually get to where you want to be. Build up to the higher numbers as rushing to where you think you should/want to be will get you injured.
