Watching the hurricane coverage on tv you hear a lot of "pray for them or us" and stuff..... i think praying is usually very effective kind of no really i think it does nothing at all View Results .....like that. TheVipaGTS 09/10/17 4:37:14 PM #7:	if the person who people are praying for is religious, it can help them emotionally i guess. If you're someone who can't directly help its just a small gesture that can show solidarity and support for people affected...like instead of saying "I'm praying for you" a non religious person might say "i stand with you"...its harmless and emotional support is a thing... ...now if you're in a position where you can directly help any situation, and your only response to them asking for help is "I'll be praying for you"...its a bit odd...not that you're obligated to help, but if you're one of those people who think THAT is enough when you can do more?....I don't know I'm not a fan of that. <cite>TheVipaGTS posted [p:886364039] in Do you per... I prayed for strength to overcome the obstacles I'm facing. The following day I felt a surge of motivation. My path is clear and I'm excited to finish what I've started.
