Should I do it?

There's a convention in November that costs like $50 for a weekend pass, but if you run 3 games you get in for free. I've only run one game before and it was a disaster (8 players, 2 of whom were kids, 1 person was completely new, and another is simply difficult to play with). I can get some practice in beforehand but I'll prolly run a game Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Now I will get some juicy experience for any character since it's Adventurer's League, so basically if I want to play a game at a shop but don't have a character to play, I can roll like a level 5 and play whoever the fuck I want.

Unless you want a disaster, you're looking at 20 hours of prep and actual play time at least. To save 50 bucks. I can appreciate you wanting more experience though. Maybe just cough up the dough and try running one successful game.

If you're running the same thing three times, I take back everything I said. That would definitely improve your skills because you could improve each time.

Not entirely sure I can do the same adventure, but I'll check. I think they're doing different ones each time. They're only 4 hours each if that affects anything.

Yeah the prep is what is gonna hurt, especially since that's around the time I need to study for finals. But $50 also hurts when I need to save that money up for tuition/books/etc. and I'm broke as hell.
