A handful of people who are typically mega-donors to a party get to essentially decide who the candidate will be, to which they will be owed big favors. This is what we saw happen in the democrat party. Much of Sanders loss can be attributed to super-delegates - it doesn't matter how many votes he got, the handful of people controlling the party would never let it happen. Why wouldnt the other side also be granted impeachment if they dont want that next president and the others after. The people are basically doing this divided. They fail to see the other side of the division.
