First of all, it's obvious the professors are being bribed to use this in classrooms in order to fleece students as much as possible and that in itself is fucking disgusting. Second of all, it's programmed in FLASH which is ultra disgusting. Third, I'm taking a quiz and I need to write a CAPITAL R. However, when I'm taking a quiz, there is a shortcut SHIFT+R to go back to the e-text. So, I am typing a sentence beginnign with the letter R and I get kicked out of my quiz. I paid $200 for a flimsy paperback French 101 textbook and a fucking dysfunctional web app. I fucking hate college, man

i had an online french "textbook" written by the teacher. had to pay 100 for that crap and is was basically just a long vocab list.

it liked to tell you that some of your answers were wrong. it would show your answer as wrong right next to what the right answer was..... they were the exact same thing, letter for letter, accent for accent.

Ugh. Whoever made that flash shit was one of two people, some guy straight out of college who knows only what he learned in college, or some old fart that can't out learn his own incompetence. Neither cares about their work and they just do it as a job.

Either way those two bastards make 90% of all educational/PR programs and they suck. If you've ever used Rosetta Stone before, you'd realize it actually runs at like 10 fps and it's missing some pretty basic functionality. Some guy was commissioned and they got what they got because how would they know any better.

UI is so easy a god damn 12 year old could tell you what's not right.
