darcandkharg31 09/17/17 8:01:41 PM #3:	I've watched the newer simpsons and I think it's still decent, although I haven't seen the very newer seasons(27 with 28 coming up I think?) I think around the late teens the simpsons dipped but I enjoyed the 20's. --- This is my signature, there are many others like it, but this one is mine. wah_wah_wah 09/17/17 8:17:33 PM #6:	Seinfeld made more of an impact on television than The Simpsons. After Seinfeld took off, so much of the stuff familiar to older sitcoms became extinct. The real focus on unlikable jerk characters was mainstreamed by Seinfeld's success. However The Simpsons season 2-10ish is easily the best show ever put to television, and had its own impact that is still being seen today in literally hundreds of animated shows. Including that one really shitty boring show that is still on the air called The Simpsons. Seinfeld just couldn't introduce dozens upon dozens of characters with well-thought backstories and motivations like The Simpsons could. The Simpsons is a far richer show due to its animated format, and often moves faster in its humor than Seinfeld could (still being anchored to the laugh track). <cite>wah_wah_wah posted [p:886790495] in Did you li...
