They get away with it because people don't care that much since anine, manga, LNs, jp games, etc have basically been plagued with bad translations for forever and people have accepted it as the new standard which they really shouldn't. But in the end this is something people have been getting used to for years so I'm not expecting public opinion on it to change any time soon. I do admit to being part of the problem as a lot of writing flaws initially go over my head. I don't typically like to analyse very deeply on a first run, so I often end up liking a game far less the more I play it. I appreciate when people point those out for games I like though. Shouko, Koyo, the main characters of Right of Left :'( Koyo's still alive though isn't he? He is but in the first series he got assimilated and he lost himself. Remember that time he came back in like episode 20, walking around but he wasn't fully himself. He was kinda braindead. And Kazuki and friends were all fighting for him to stay alive and not be shot down by the military guys I think. I was crying so much because of that situation and how fucked up Koyo became. So at the time I was watching the first series I didn't know he would be better and come back in the movie till I watched it. When I saw he came back in the movie I was so fucking happy. He had a badass entry where he saved someone too. Can't remember who it was. He was only in his Festum Core form so it seems he lost his body but at least he seems to be himself again. And the kids in the original series (and the movie) have all matured and grown up too. These characters are so much more likeable now. I really hope there are as little casualties as possible. Yeah it's nice to see the old characters grow up. Kazuki is my most favourite character. Also the new gen kids are likeable too. I really like Reo. Are you a fan of angela? If you weren't before, I hope this series made you one.
