True. Best use I've seen of it is with Alienation, and it's just for scrolling the map which you wind up doing almost never anyway.

I was thinking about this the other day. Same with the tilt controls, except those are pretty much never used on the PS4 for some reason. They could have worked great in MGSV.

OoT3DS and BotW have gotten me so used to and happy with aiming using tilt controls that playing games without those controls, especially older Zeldas, honestly bothers me.

This is true. Any game on PS4 with a map screen/function should have it as an option for scrolling around, it's a nice thing to include but completely wasted.

It's true. Game controllers hit their peak with the DualShock 3. There's no need for gimmicks.

It adds 8+ extra inputs to the controller. 8 inputs! Good luck finding space for two extra sets of face buttons.

It's the best thing about the DS4.

I enjoyed how DOOM (2016) used it to scroll through the map with touch input, but that isn't exactly something you need to have. My only gripe with it is the light on the top, which is a severe drain on the battery and cannot be turned off, only dimmed negligibly.
