Yes No She's Average View Results 24 y/o Vivian Nouri, a Syrian Refugee whose family home was destroyed by a bomb has come a long way as the New Zealand singer has now moved to Los Angeles where she met with a music supervisor at Paramount Pictures and will sing a christmas song for the movie Daddy's Home 2!! She was asked to get tot he studio in one hour to record a song that will be on the soundtrack to the hit sequel film..and she dropped everything and went to LA She knew it wasn't veryday that she got to record a song for a major movie and was delighted to get the chance. She said "I was at the gym and the next i get a call from the music supervisor at Paramount Pictures to sing a Christmas song for one of the scenes in the movie." She met someone at a pre-Grammy party named Jason Richmond who introduced her to the studio as he was mesmerized by her voice and knew that her vocal range would be perfect for the movie. The song was recorded at the same studio where Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie recorded "We are the World" and one week later, she was a lock for the movie. Her family was over the moon knowing that their daughter's voice will be heard around the world Her life began in a syrian refugee camp in 1993 after their family fled their home in 1991 and they were finally granted refugee status in New Zealand where they moved to their new home in 1995 and called New Zealand their home She started singing at the age of 9 and her family recognized her potential after she sang "When You Believe" by Mariah Carey. Since then she's been singing on Youtube showcasing her talent and has been working with Grammy award winning producer Brian Kennedy and Davix Foreman. LA is now her second home where she'll record a number of songs as she's working with big names such as Fifth Harmony, Skrillex and G-Eazy.
