Mississippi Wench, Cammie Rone, a second grade heifer at Batesville Intermediate School has been suspended after she posted a racist facebook comment..but then claims she was HACKED!!

She is on administrative leave because she posted a message that urged unhappy black people to "pack up and move back to Africa"!!

She said "If blacks in this country are so offended no one is forcing them to stay here. Why don't they pack up and move back to Africa where they will have to work for a living. I am sure our government will pay for it. We pay for everything else!."

Then she denied posting it and wrote on her FB after deleting that comment "I think i have been hacked. I keep getting messages abut racist posts but when i go to my page, i can't see it. Someone screenshotted and sent me. If anyone knows me i post about cows recipes and home improvements stuff, not racism. Please know i have not posted or made any kind of racist comments"

Jeff Eubanks, public information officer said "We are aware of the alleged Facebook comment involving one of our employees. That employee has been placed on admin leave as we continue our investigation in the manner"

Cammie has not returned requests for a comment

I believe in the benefit of the doubt, especially with how easy it is for things like this to happen these days. I think some character witnesses would be able to attest for whether or not she might have done it.

I like how TC starts a debate on if she is guilty or innocent, and then outright calls her "racist".

1. the proof isn't in yet that she did it. you don't know she is guilty yet

2. generally when trying to start a debate like this, the starter of the debate doesn't just blurt out their biased opinion before the discussion even starts

3. you always do this. you are severely biased and never hide it. I used to just let it go. but recently it's really been bugging me. EVERY SINGLE TOPIC has some bias in it. your not a good reporter

Heck, she probably could do it herself. There's a log of login locations available in your account settings, unless the hacker deleted that login (but I don't think it's possible to do that because they'd still be accessing it from the same computer when they logged out). That, or "she was hacked" means "she left her account open on a public computer," in which case nobody can trace that.

... because some are a guest in another country that's why. This applies to any race sure but the sentiment is still the same. I wouldn't go and live in a different country and expect it to be exactly like England for example.

This. But also, check the IP address it was posted from if possible. Interview other teachers to find out if she makes remarks like that to other staff. Check if she's made previous facebook posts like this or if it was a one time thing. Don't just jump to a knee-jerk ruining of someone's career.

Ummm, it's just as likely as someone who is a teacher (generally intelligent people) posting something that would almost certainly be noticed and lose them their job. Besides, "a random nobody" is pretty subjective. She might be nobody to us but she may also have a student who doesn't like her and might do something like this. We don't know her life.

Who are "you" and "us"? The people who have been dead for over a century?

I can entertain arguments about how black people are still disadvantaged as a direct result of slavery and that we should work to try to rectify that, but assigning blame to a group of people for the actions of other likely unrelated people (for the most part) is just absurd.

There's a reason I took out all the nuance. When you boil down the arguments, it's pretty clear they aren't equally dumb. Saying "white people should pay reparations" is overly simplistic, yes, but there's a genuine issue trying to be addressed there. Saying both statements are equally dumb is akin to saying "2+2=5" and "2+2=lawn ornament" are equally dumb. One is genuinely trying to solve a problem, even if it isn't right. One is just flat-out nonsense.

Some folk of any race are guests in whatever country. That's what I'm saying hence the "this applies to any race" part of my post. I mean foreigners can be any race as can be natives so it obviously doesn't apply to everyone.
