Zack's had a fairly even distribution of finishes, sometimes in pairs! That's back to back finishes in the same spot, after nearly finishing at the same spot back to back the previous two years. He has a couple of mid-40s finishes and a couple of top 10 finishes, including a victory over Squall in CXIV. CXII is the only contest without a similar finish somewhere else, so maybe that can be rectified next year. With this performance, Zack drops nearly a full percent from 55.83% to 54.85%, falling below Cloud (of Darkness) to land at 35th place.

Zack's STATS are a little worse in the New Era. There, he falls from 50.40% to 49.83%, falling past Lulu to land at 45th place.

The Sabin of the first nine contests and the Sabin of the last ten contests might as well be two entirely different characters. He has seven top 25 finishes, two of those top 10s, including a finals loss to Auron in CIX, but six of them happened in the first nine contests. He's only finished in the upper half twice since his finals loss. This is his best finish by percentage in the last six contests, and it's not even close. This has all balanced out and put Sabin somewhere near the middle. With this performance, Sabin drops a tiny bit from 48.80% to 48.76%, holding steady at 46th place.

Sabin has been one of the very worst characters in the New Era. He was third from the bottom before this, but this performance boosts him from 20.89% to 26.31%, passing Kimahri, Reno, Snow, Marche, Orlandu, and Cyan to land at 91st place. He's still in the bottom ten overall though.

Quistis has been all over the place. She has four top 25 finishes to go along with a pair of boots. She's done pretty well for herself since the most recent boot. Although the last couple contests weren't great, she still hasn't really been in danger of being booted again since then. With this performance, Quistis improves slightly from 44.50% to 44.78%, holding steady at 57th place overall.

Quistis's high and low finishes in the New Era have almost perfectly balanced out, and she is about close to right down the middle as it gets as a result. She drops slightly from 50.92% to 50.60%, staying at 43rd place.

While this is a middle of the pack (literally) finish for Freya, her resume is overwhelmingly positive. She has top 25 finishes in 9 of her 17 appearances, with three of those being top 10s. She had a streak of five straight from CIV to CVIII. Freya does have a few duds like most characters do, but those are few and far between. With this performance, Freya drops from 64.14% to 63.36%, but she holds steady at 21st place.

Freya hasn't quite had the same consistent level of success in the New Era, but her numbers there are still pretty good. She falls from 57.36% to 56.30%, staying at 31st place.

Except for his third place finish in CXIII, Ultros always seems to finish somewhere around the middle. Sometimes it's not entirely his fault though! He has the ignominious distinction of being one of only two characters who's been lawyered out twice, and he very nearly got lawyered out the year he finished third! Who knows how different his numbers would look if not for those lawyerings? With this finish, Ultros gains a little bit, going from 49.29% to 49.63%, staying at 44th place.

His numbers are a little worse in the New Era because he doesn't get the benefit of that third place finish. There, Ultros bumps up from 43.41% to 44.84%, passing Eiko (for now) and Beatrix to land at 57th place.

However, if she were to enter the STATS today, Edea would debut at 76.67%, which would be good for 9th in the overall STATS (between Terra and Rydia) and 12th in the New Era STATS (between Vivi and Rydia again).

Golbez has been up and down throughout his tenure. He has four top 25 finishes, one of which was a top ten, to go with a boot and a bizarre lawyering situation in CXVI that didn't result in a boot despite finishing second to last. Recent contests have not been kind to him, as this is only his second upper half finish in the last seven contests. With this finish, Golbez raises from 46.50% to 46.97%, passing Aki for 52nd place.

His recent struggles result in a noticeably worse number in the New Era. There, Golbez increases from 35.64% to 38.70%, moving past Cissnei, Wakka, Paine, and Fran to land at 73rd place.

Aside from that one boot in CXIV, Faris has done pretty well for herself. She has eight top 25 finishes, with three of those being top 10s. She's only finished in the bottom half four times. With this performance, Faris drops a bit from 62.65% to 62.23%, falling past Hope and Gilgamesh (who now reclaims the title of highest ranked FFV character after briefly losing it when he was eliminated this year) to land at 25th place.

Faris has been one of the most consistent characters between both eras of the contest, even taking her boot into account. In the New Era, she falls from 62.24% to 60.79%, sliding past Laguna to stop at 27th place.

As you can tell, Quina's tenure in this contest has been rough, to say this least. Quina has more upper half finishes the last two contests than the rest of his/her appearances combined. S/he was in the bottom ten before the last two years, but it's amazing what two good finishes will do for you when you're so low to begin with. With this performance, Quina improves from 30.82% to 33.34%, passing Paine, Elena, Rubicante, and Larsa for 87th place.

All three of Quina's upper half finishes being in the New Era means his/her numbers there are much better. Quina jumps from 42.16% to 44.93%, passing Edge, Setzer, Eiko, Beatrix, Ultros, and Wiegraf for 57th place.

Perhaps one of the most unbelievable stats in this contest is that it took Relm 15 contests to get booted for the first time, and she didn't finish in the upper half in any of the first 11. She's managed to finish in the upper half in three of her last five appearances, including a top ten, so I guess that's progress for her. With this performance, Relm increases from 36.90% to 38.24%, passing Fujin and Bartz to land at 77th place.

Unfortunately for Relm, she only gets credit for one of those upper half finishes in the New Era, so she debuts there at 33.75%, sandwiched between Cid P and Chocobo for 84th place.

Eiko has been up and down in this contest. She has two top 25 finishes and two boots. She has six upper half finishes and seven lower half finishes, so she's fairly split between good and bad showings. With this performance, Eiko increases from 42.17% to 43.38%, passing Galuf, Lulu, and Ramza (all only temporarily) for 60th place overall.

Eiko's numbers are similar in the New Era, but she makes a bigger leap here, going from 44.50% to 47.20%, surpassing Beatrix, Ultros, Wiegraf, Quina, Galuf again, Tristam, Vanille, Rufus, Red XIII, and Aki to land at 51st place.

Eiko's Old Era number was 41.00%, which put her at 55th place between Quistis and Galuf (from whom she is apparently inseparable).

It's been a while since a member of the Every Contest Club has been eliminated (not since Locke at 59)! Yuna has largely been successful in these contests, especially in recent years. She has 11 top 25 finishes in 19 contests, with three of those being top tens. She's only finished in the lower half once in the last ten contests (and only four times overall), and that was just barely in CXVII. As such, her numbers are pretty good. With this finish, Yuna actually drops a bit from 62.84% to 62.69%, but she holds steady at 22nd place between Freya and Hope.

With her recent run of success, Yuna's numbers are even better in the New Era, but this one hurts her. She drops from 78.09% to 75.08%, falling past Vivi, Edea Lee, Rydia, Celes, and Yuffie to land at 15th place. Vivi now rounds out the top ten.

Oh right, in the Old Era, Yuna was at 56.97%, good for 30th place between Sabin and final champion of the Old Era Marche.

Four appearances resulting in four upper half finishes and a top ten. That's an achievement that's mostly only been accomplished by the elite characters in this contest (and Porom, too, somehow). That might qualify as acceptable for the first Bravely Default character to enter the overall STATS. With this performance, Agnes officially debuts at 71.00% exactly, between two heroes (Tidus and Locke) for 13th place in the overall STATS and between two villains (Seymour and Kefka) for 20th place in the New Era STATS.
