Maybe you're just forgetting that Halo 3 is the only one that doesn't use hitscan. Have to lead your shots at long range.

I'm aware of that. But I don't ever remember it being so difficult to kill someone with a BR in Halo 3. In MCC, it can be sometimes. That alone obviously doesn't mean anything. It's been a while since I played the original Halo 3, so maybe the statement in my first post is just flat-out wrong and I'm just not remembering correctly. Although I'm certainly not the only one who's noticed this.

The BR in 3 was often aggravatingly difficult to use. I definitely remember that. It would appear especially so when you combine the games into one collection where you jump from one set of mechanics to another constantly.

Perhaps. Although it's not like players select anything other than Halo 3 to begin with. That is the MCC's biggest issue for me. I hope now that Halo 3 is backwards compatible I'll get to play some more of CE and Halo 2 in matchmaking.

Played it last night and at first it was really jarring especially since I had played the MCC version earlier in the day, but about halfway through the game my eyes adjusted to the framerate and everything seemed to work fine.
