The only way I found out was my bank sent me a warning that I've reached my credit limit.
I called the bank to reverse all these authorizations but I'm still pretty pissed off that it happened. I recall the purchase went smoothly so it wasn't a connection issue on my side at least. Should I call the retailer up and tell them off? --- Just a friendly reminder that Nintendo was founded in 1889. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Really won't do anything, and the transactions were reversed so you can't sue them for anything. Just write a negative review on their site or report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I'm annoyed that this might impact my credit rating since I technically hit my credit limit. I asked my bank about that and they said it 'probably' won't hurt it. --- Just a friendly reminder that Nintendo was founded in 1889. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Depends on how long it was since you made the purchase until they removed them. If there was time to report it then you might take a small hit until it's taken off the next time. Unless you plan on financing something in the next month it won't really hurt you.

I'd at least let them know in case it was an error with their computers. Hell, even a disgruntled employee trying to hurt the company. You never know.
