I had never heard of it until Friday where in the span of 3 hours I read two different places how great the game is. It cost a 20, so why not?

RIP my life.

I actually thought this was one of those games I was late to the party for and everyone already played a year or two ago. Like my last obsession Project Zomboid.

Basically, imagine minecraft, meets a tower defense game, meets engineering, meets being as lazy as possible.

Basic premise: Craft a ton of stuff to make yourself better. The twist: You want to automate it as much as possible. Why? Because who wants to craft 1000 steel bars by hand when you can set up mining iron, smelting iron, turning those steel bars into different items etc.

I've played it a fair bit yeah, probably like 200-300 hours spread over 6-7 different maps. I generally stop and make a new one once my computer starts lagging too much to play it anymore lol. I play it multiplayer with a few friends, seems like it would be way too lonely to play alone since a lot of the fun for us is discussing where to build what, how to layout the base, and yelling/laughing at people who do particularly stupid or silly looking stuff

pics of base?

It's on my home computer and I'm at work. It really isn't anything special. Over the course of the weekend I did a few of the training missions and then switched to the open world. I learned a lot on that map so I started again and put those things to use. Now (when I get home from work) I have further ideas I want to try out so will be starting again.
