My mother and I argue all the time over how I use my steam cleaner; She claims that professional carpet cleaner told her that you spray the carpet first before using the steam cleaner over it. When on any box, it shows that you put the solution into the machine and use it that way. "The professional" told her that, that way just breaks down the machine and the carpet. Any ideas?
