As a part of the DC Trinity, it would be nice for her to have a video game with her as the headline too.

There is a tremendous lack of superhero games right now. There have been some good ones tbh, but a completely missed opportunity.

She'll have a manface and be really roided up. Not pretty at all.

Guaranteed

It's really weird that Wonder Woman has never headlined a single game. Her abilities seem like they'd be perfect for a video game.

But yeah would be sweet if it had a Bayonetta-esque combat system.

Idk. Assuming this game stars her as the main character, I am sure a lot more detail would be given to make sure she looks like...well, Wonder Woman. It wouldn't necessarily have to have the Injustice artstyle either.

I mean, look back on the Xbox 360 for example. Wolverine game was pretty cool. Iron Man game wasn't bad. Marvel Heroes Omega was onto something if it wasn't such a shitty cash grab. So much potential there and little execution.

Remember X-Men Legends? Marvel Ultimate Alliance? Who didn't legit enjoy those games? Marvel, and superheros as a whole are at a peak right now. Why not embrace it and milk it for all it's worth?

SO MUCH. Imagine a Green Lantern game like Arkham Asylum.

They made two phenomenal Batman games, and the door is wide open. Give us what we need!!

Exactly, missed opportunity for superhero-based video games right now. Batman and Spider-Man seem to be the only superheroes game developers feel comfortable working with.

I think the reason was that licensing was expensive and restricted. They had limited time to pump games out and they had to match movie release dates etc and that impacted quality.

Last gen gamers didn't really fall for it as much. So the games weren't safe bets anymore. They dried up. It's hard to blame them really. Why share the pie with Marvel/WB when you could make your own game and get all of the money?

Things have changed though. WB Games have all of the DC licenses so they can do whatever they want with them. But in a sense this is also a restriction since WB Games is only one publisher and they also have IP's like Lord of the Rings. I think WB Games most certainly would be looking into developing a Wonder Woman game after the box office results. But it will still be a few years away if they started pre-production this year.

Meanwhile the Marvel stuff has been all over the place. It took a long time for the deals with Activision to dry up. The rights have been shifted a few times. But it looks like it has settled down with Disney. It seems like they're willing to license out specific projects to developers and are way less restricted compared to the old days. So I think we're seeing a comeback. Insomniac Spider-man should be very good.

Perhaps they should make a Wonder Woman game that will be able to be released shortly around the time Wonder Woman 2 comes out. Doesn't have to relate to the movies in any way (preferably not because movie don't translate well to games usually).

I think the Arkham method has worked pretty well for them.

Looking at their dev studios should paint a decent picture

Avalanche Software: Recently bought from Disney. Worked on Cars 3 and Disney Infinity. This team looks to be free to work on something. They seem to be focused on kids games though. If they stick to that I could see them getting a Looney Tunes project. (wait damn this is confusing. There's also Avalance Studios who make Just Cause/Mad Max. Apparently they're no longer working on licensed games though and will go independent)

Monolith: Just about to release Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. They could be a candidate to make a Wonder Woman game if they're leaving LOTR.

Rocksteady: Been in the dark since Arkham Knight. No idea what they're working on. Likely DC related

TT Games: Dedicated to Lego games

WB Montreal: Haven't released anything since Arkham Origins. There have been rumors of a Suicide Squad game and a Damien Batman game tied to these devs but nothing has come out. No idea what's going on here

I imagine the next huge DC game, if not Batman, will be Superman since Superman has big bucks behind his brand if someone could finally unlock the key on how to make a game around a character as powerful as Superman enjoyable.

Wonder Woman would be a good game to follow-up with though. She deserves her own game imo.

Whatever Rocksteady is working on will be really interesting. All we know is that it's not an Arkham sequel.

I have a feeling it will be DC related but I have no idea what. If I had to guess I'd actually go with Justice League or Suicide Squad.

Flash could make for a good game too. Where would they cap his speed at?
