Meet on Saturday at the police station (they don't know the extent of my injury, just that they need to pay to repair the bike). Going to tell them they will pay what we ask or we will press charges and file the lawsuit. My wife's aunt is a lawyer and giving us the advise we need.

Taking all the paperwork from the hospital including the disc with all the mri photos. They aren't going to be able to weasel their way out of this.

I live in a place where a motorcycle is the most viable means of travel. It is also the most used form of transport in the country.

I know multiple people who have. You have problems when the police say it was your fault or both people are at fault in this case the cop put full blame on him. We talked to my wife's aunt who is a lawyer and she says I'm entitled to lost wages, pain and suffering, etc. My father-in-laws ex is a police captain at the station that it was reported to. She will be there at the meeting. Meeting was changed to Monday though at her request.
