I firmly believe that the only thing keeping weed illegal are lobbyists from big alcohol, big tobacco, big pharm, private prisons, and big textile. There's not enough marijuana counter lobby money to stuff politicians pockets like the old guard. Not yet anyway, some major companies are starting to invest.

I wish prohibition would finally end so the DEA can do some real work and tackle the opioid and heroine epidemic many states are facing.
