If your mum does porn then she's financially independent and it would be her first choice because you usually have other marketable skills at that age so she's doing something she enjoys. If your daughter does it, statistically she won't be in the industry for long (3-6 months for amateurs apparently) unless she makes it big, in which case see above points.
