So in the first round of a cup final I won 5-0, putting me in position to clinch, away, in the second leg.
Feeling there is no way the other team comes back and ties it, I put in some younger kids and backups, with two star players in the lineup, though some starters on the bench if i feel my team is slipping. If the other team came back from 5-0 down to tie it, this would be historic. This is near impossible. I estimate my chances of winning this two legged tie with my current 5 goal lead at 99.9%. I could also score in this match increasing my lead as well. So, in the pre game pep talk I want my younger players(playing in a cup final) to feel at ease so I tell my defense and midfield to "relax, go out there and play your natural game" When I did the midfield, some players seemed relaxed, but enough to take the edge off so they wont worry as much. When I told the defense to do likewise, it musta glitched because: One player was confused. One player was angered NINE players were "relaxed, maybe overly so" well fuck, we'll see how this goes. can the Pittsburgh Riverhounds blow a 5-0 lead vs Real Salt Lake? ???? ill letcha know... ... Well I just scored under ten minutes in.
I guess that had no effect. Now the other team needs to score seven goals(not six, because I have an away goal so a tie would give me the edge and they didnt score away). I think im good now. ... Copied to Clipboard!
