80/80

It's really enjoyable to read and I never read books. Maybe I should read more of his stuff.

Stephen King stuff is all pretty easy quick reading.

I liked Michael Crichton for the same reason, could go through those books in a hurry.

Dreamcatcher is the only one I recall reading. Not bad to be honest.

Most are.

Try the stand, or the dark tower series.

Or Cell if you want a decent take on a zombie book.

damn didn't know it was considered a quick/easy read, now I feel sorta bad about getting my grandmother to read that one stephen king book for me and just summarizing it back to me so I could write a book report. (actually surprised she did that for me as she was a follow the rules type of person. but she really loved reading)

I forget which book it was, but it was just as big as some harry potter books as to why I was put off on actually reading it.

Each of the Harry potter books can be read in basically less than a week. Stephen King's books are mostly longer than those.

never been big on reading books. i'm still mad at myself for reading this one book that was a 3 parter, really liked it, but its been so long since i've read it i'd feel the need to start all over again instead of jumping to book 2. and each book averaged about 800-1000 pages.

edit: i'm also still super pissed at myself for turning down a AP class in highschool because it wanted us to read 3 books over the summer and do book reports. I said fuck that I don't care for reading, then turned around and read 3 books that summer.

I feel you. Sometimes I get sidetracked when reading a long book and then just feel the need to start it all over by the time I get back to it. It's getting to that point with my current book rn. Clive Barber's Imajica.

I do like good short stories, though I need to finish that book of short stories my mom gave me, most of them where pretty good. I particularly loved one story in it where these people came out to murder this dude, he lived pretty much out in a desert, and these where city people, he leads them on a chase through the desert properly prepared, and waits for them to be super dehydrated and on the brink of death (he also fucked up their car so they couldn't drive it, to escape) and I actually learned something in that story, that without enough salt in your body you can thirst to death even in a swimming pool.

I'd actually say that It is one of his harder books to read just because it is so overwritten and long.

Never read it, but a lot of his books are pretty easy reads. Christine is one of the easier ones since the pacing is halfway decent even if the actual story gets silly in places.

Also, this. The story's organization is all over the place. It's really a mess. It jumps back and forth all the time, JUST when things are starting to get good. I can't stand it, it's one of my least favorite of his books for this main reason. But I still admire its scope and it's characters
