However, if you cop an attitude like you just did, than you probably won't get the "answer" you want.

Hell yeah

Regardless of the intricacy of ettiquette, no one likes being told what to do or how to behave. The lowest amount of rules you can get away with tends to be a more favorable solution the more the population increases.

That's the problem with this site. Many of the rules are invisible and they're also changing. So you're either forced to just run into them and ignore it or complain. Personally, I'd prefer the site without moderation.

I don't need to censor people outside of the law. My feelings aren't fragile. And as many of you are men, I would hope you'd answer the same.

I can't say I feel the same as you.

I am hardly ever modded anymore. The rare occasion that I am, I deserve the punishment and knowingly posted what I did, knowing full-well that I'd probably be modded for it.

It should be obvious that GameFAQs moderators are just people. They volunteer their time, without any form of monetary reward, in order to help keep things civil.

However, I do know that mistakes happen. Making a mistake is part of being human. Owning up to your mistake, however, and not blaming someone else for your folly, is the differentiating factor between who really is at fault.

sometimes they are too strict with their rules though, like use discretion once in awhile. I got modded for using a supposedly offensive word, which I had no clue was considered offensive, but if you read my post you could easily tell I didn't mean to be offensive in any way shape or form. I was talking about a certain video game character and mentioning I liked said character.
