if you're going to lift you really shouldn't do that if you're yawning and tired.

if they're not actually tired and just that as an excuse then fuck them though

if you're putting hundreds of pounds on your back/over your head when you're yawing you're just asking to seriously hurt yourself. proper rest is a key part of lifting

Your girl told me you're still just a twig where it matters. Too bad there're no workouts for that little issue, bro

Total nonsense. Lifting when you're tired is an inevitable fact of life if you're serious.

I've noticed that a lot of times when I'm "tired" it's really just an inertia issue and I just need to get my blood moving.

I've had some great lifts on little or no sleep but the problem is whenever I'm on 4-6 hours of sleep and I'm like "Haha screw it I'll bang it out," I inevitably have to sleep like 11 hours after that.

I'm a master procrastinator, but I've never been "too tired" to go to the gym. I always force myself to go even if I'm in a lazy mood. I've made it a habit, like a drug.

Proper rest is a key part of lifting but so is consistency. If you're already tired there's no fixing that until nighttime so you still gotta lift (unless you're like sleep deprived enough for it to actually be dangerous).

Plus a ton of the time when you think you're tired you're just psychologically tired from not doing anything rather than actually sleep deprived.

I kind of agree TC. Although if I'm exhausted I'll usually just move it to the next day if I don't already have a workout planned. It's not that I'm not able to workout while tired, but I definitely hit my limits much quicker when I'm not properly rested. And like others have said, if you're too tired some of your workouts could be a bit dangerous. Though you can adjust accordingly, of course.

I don't like the atmosphere at the gym. Just not my kind of place. I much prefer working out at home.

If I'm already exhausted, I figure I'm not going to do all that well at the gym, preworkout or no preworkout. That said, I've been responding to stress by cardio and lifting, and it's been pretty decent. I can lose myself on the bike for six miles and be ready for pull-downs.

I was so tired when I went last Friday, but I ended up getting back to my highest beach since I lost weight. I also set a private for OHP. After that I was feeling myself and went a little too hard and left feeling like I was going to drop dead.
