Night owl by far. Which actually kinda worked out when I was in college and briefly employed at a call center over a summer.

night owl. even if I alter my sleeping schedule and start going to bed and waking up at normal hours, when left to my own devices I always slip right back into being a night owl.

seriously. but I think it has a lot to do with I prefer the quietness of the night versus the day, also doesn't help I am photosensitive or something like that and prefer it to not be so bright.

Not sure if it's true or not but i've read that some studies done, have suggest that people who are night owls are usually brighter than early birds. The article stated that charles darwin was a notable night owl, some others that i can't remember now. And they didn't even have light bulbs during darwin's time

ok think i might be confused here, when you say brighter do you mean lighting or intelligence. i'm confused because you mention a known intelligent man but then bring up light bulbs.

not sure if thats true though, I did well in school but I would say i'm only slightly smarter than average, if not then just average. think I ranked 49th out of 450 students in my school as far as my grades went.

but as the saying goes if you don't use it you lose it. i've forgotten a lot of what I learned in highschool

Couldn't even tell you the last time I was outside when the sun was up other than to walk to my car in the morning.

I try and try and try to escape it, but I'm a night owl. Though, sometimes I'm able to stay as an earlier riser for a week or two before my body inevitably works its way back.

Night owl, definitely a night owl. It was awesome back when I had my school holidays, as I could stay up as late as I wanted without worrying about what to do next morning. Stayed up all through the night and only went to bed at around 4-5am. Woke up probably sometime at noon or so.

Even nowadays, I have to get up at 6am for my job and I keep telling myself that I need to sleep earlier, but somehow I always end up going to sleep at 11pm, midnight or 1am at the most. Can't seem to sleep any earlier than that.

Both. 3-4 hours of sleep ftw!

Edit: If I had to choose, night owl. I simply prefer doing things and going out at night. It helps when it comes to doing school work.

I try to sleep like a real person on Sundays/Mondays though.

Night owl. I get up late and stay up late. Also I like nightlife. Sometimes going out drinking when it's a bit busy but mostly in the dead of night where everything is silent. It comes as no surprise I prefer working a night shift too(when I have a job). Unsociable hours are fine by me.

I prefer living in the suburbs/country, so there really isn't anything to do once it gets dark. So I guess not, but if I could actually tolerate city living then I probably would be. The sun isn't out to kill me at night.

I live in a very rural area. still prefer night life, but as I stated earlier, I like the quiet.
