The first clip finally shows off the speed that Superman always seems to forget about.

The second clip is the full fight with Zod, and I really like it because it is what I always wanted a Superman fight to feel like: grand. The fight is all over Metropolis and even in space at one point. I also like the part where Superman is punching Zod in the air over and over, zooming over Metropolis. I also like when he is chasing Zod, and we seem him fly throughout Metropolis in a flash. Yeah, buildings are destroyed like they are nothing, but Superman is a rookie.

The third clip is Superman learning to fly, and I like it because it yet again shows Superman's incredible speed in flight, and his incredible force when he demolishes a mountain after accidentally flying through it.

Not to mention, the ground shaking below them as they are about to launch is great too. The Kryptonians feel powerful in this movie.

There are other scenes of course, I just picked these three as I really think they show some things I always wanted out of a live-action Superman.

Man of Steel is underrated tbh.

When I first watched it, I thought it was okay, but honestly, I love it more and more every time I watch it now. It is my favorite Superman movie, and one of the greats for me.

but yeah, also, the 1st clip is exactly how I picture a Dragon Ball Z fight in real life, which is where I also think Superman fights should be.

Perhaps even better in how they portrayed Clark Kent (specifically Clark, not other Kryptonians) is Smallville, but there was a big issue.

Smallville Clark Kent was pretty cool at times, and has some incredible feats of his own (running to South America in seconds, and this was before he was even Superman. When he was season 10 Clark Kent, he was able to rush to Metropolis from Smallville in the time it took the globe on the top of the Daily Planet to reach like 1/2 to 3/4 of the way down iirc. When he was Superman, like literally right as he became Superman, he was able to knock a whole goddamn planet away from the Earth, and not look tired at all after doing it.

My only problem with him is that all his fights were lame as they involved him throwing someone or some overused slo-mo. I don't want slow-mo, I want what we got from clip 1.
