While some other characters like Phyllis and Ryan were fairly unlikable a lot of the time, they at least had some redeeming moments. It wasn't terrible afterwards, but it definitely dropped off and seems like a different show in a lot of ways. Whole episodes are ruined because he is just a dick by the end of the show. Toby is a bit part player so he may piss you off on occasion, but it's in very small doses.
