I think that this update is a really good idea to bring in new players but I feel like the general reaction is still going to be negative. I hope people can recognize that it's not a silly cash grab update like some of the ones from Capcom's past!

R. Mika's new V-Trigger is Nideshko smacking someone with a steel chair. They're actually going to have arcade mode and arcade endings.

But most importantly, we don't have to buy any of these season 2 characters nobody cares about if you own the game already! Yay! I'm excited for this, actually. The main reason I couldn't get into SFV was because I didn't like playing any of the characters that much. I may actually like playing any of the new characters. Of course, this all hinges on how well the balance is for season 3 I think. That's important.

Yeah people are kinda confused on this but you're actually not getting any characters for free if you own the base game right now. The new $40 package is really only aimed at new people who haven't bought the game yet because it's basically just season 1+2 packaged into a bundle. People who already have the game are only getting the new modes and stuff.
