Welcome to the 2017 Horror Icons tournament, Every few years I try to do this in October because I've spent my life loving horror and well, what better time to do these during the Halloween season.

Rules:

1. You can vote in as many of the daily matches as you want.
2. Matches will last 24 hours and will usually start around midnight EST. I may start a day earlier if work interferes with my sleep, but matches will still last 24 hours.
3. Ties will be broken the the next day with a bonus tiebreaker match. If the match is still a tie after the first tiebreaker, we will do a third match which I will abstain from and only vote if the results end in a third tie.

Day 6 starts off Carrie taking on the religious fanatic Walter, something I'm sure Carrie will find familiar. Carrie has had ups and downs in the contest. @012 saw her exit in the first round to generic Zombies, while 2014 saw her crush Cujo, she didn't fare well against Frankenstein's Creature. Second up is new characters. Can the evil little doll from the Classic Twilight Zone episode trip her victims out of the contest, or will the shock rock icon, Marilyn Manson be able to take her apart. Our third match has two returning contestants. Jigsaw and his traps, made it to the sweet 16 in 2012, but ran into the scarecrow in '14 for a second round exit, while Sister Mary had the misfortune of running into the Candyman and being destroyed in the first round of '14. Now the nun and the trap master start their journey anew. Last up we have an Alien who can take the form of anything facing a man who can make anything out of just about anything. The Thing was taken out early in '12, but in '14 made it all the way to the elite 8 before losing to Dracula. The make up genius that is Savini hopefully has some tricks up his shelve.
