UnfairRepresent 10/06/17 4:35:54 PM #1:	An apartment fire in Japan killed six people believed to be the wife and children of a 32-year-old man who turned himself in to police early Friday and was arrested on suspicion of murder. A woman and four boys were found dead in a room on the first floor of the three-story building in Hitachi, a town in Ibaraki Prefecture northeast of Tokyo. A girl found with several stab wounds was rushed to a hospital, where she was declared dead. Hitachi police spokesman Masataka Suzuki said the six victims are believed to be the 33-year-old wife of the man, Hirobumi Komatsu, his 11-year-old daughter and two sons aged 7 and 5, as well as 3-year-old twins. Suzuki said Komatsu has told police he set the fire. Komatsu had also suffered burns, Kyodo News service reported. The fire, which broke out at 5 a.m., was extinguished within an hour of the report, police said. Japanese broadcasters aired footage of officials sifting through rubble in a badly scorched building. "My wife started talking of splitting up. I murdered (them) and set the room on fire after spreading gasoline," Hirobumi Komatsu, 32, was quoted as telling the police. Komatsu was arrested after handing himself in to the police on Friday. The fire broke out early Friday morning at the family's apartment in a public housing building in Hitachi and was put out about an hour later. Police believe Komatsu's 33-year-old wife Megumi and their five children -- 11-year-old daughter Mua, 7-year-old son Takara, 5-year-old son Ryua, and 3-year-old twin sons Rairu and Reiru, were fatally stabbed before the fire.
