And that's the problem. They have the oldest population in the world that is living longer every year.

Their workforce is diminishing, most of the rural towns and villages are dying or struggling with people fleeing to the cities.

And disturbing amounts of young people espically women have no interest in sex.

Japan's low birth rate and lack of a strong workforce is an absolute crisis that even Abe hasn't been quiet about even though he's done nothing to fix it.

Denying it is madness.

Not saying the solution would be mass refugee immigration but your standpoint of "I'm the one willing to tell the truth!" stand doesn't work when you're afraid of the truth and lie.

Japan's protection from that comes from its isolation more than anything else. Same as the US.

Japan also didn't have any issues with the Mexican Drug Cartels for decades....... Until a few years ago when they reached Japan because no one stopped the problems.
