Just rescued nick valentine and killed Kellogg. Also just became knight in the brotherhood. Played about 20 hours so far. Feel like I've only just scratched the surface but getting a bit bored.

Yes, you can. But you can only advance so far with some of them before you piss off the other guys. I think the minutemen are safe for everyone, but the institute, bos, and railroad are all at odds with each other and don't take too kindly to dirty traitors past a certain point. You'll know you fucked up when you get a shitload of failed quests dumped on you :P

Yeah, welcome to Fallout 4. Where all the sidequests are the same thing and they all suck. Really, the best part of that game is the companions. Just hang out with your bros and lady bros and go exploring. Build one really nice settlement you want to use as your home base and go super basic on all the other ones, they aren't worth the effort.

I think the game literally tells you "hey, if you continue with this mission, you're going to be exclusively with this faction from now on".

Very Nick heavy with the story if you bring him, and you can get some new items and weapons.

Far Harbor has probably the only interesting moment(s) in the game in my opinion.

Far Harbor is probably the most competent DLC and adds some interesting weaponry (harpoon guns, lever-action rifles), plus a foggy-ass island to explore. Not sure if they fixed the fog's FPS-lowering qualities, but that used to be a problem at times.

less if you plan to do all 4 factions. you can do quests for all but each has a point of no return so make a save file before then. not sure if someone on here knows where. if not you can look it up. but most of the quests you do before then. it's just the last couple for each faction you can't do till you pick a side.

Be prepared for the plot to fall apart when you find Shaun.
