Conservatives are more subdued, nothing wrong with that. We need both. Together they could be great and possibly actually MAGA, but for some reason they can't get past the differences. You guys know how a team works? You have a multitude of different personalities that have to put their differences aside for one common goal, and sometimes they even compliment eachother, and can pick up the slack for eachother's weaknesses and make eachother better. That's what we need is a true leader, someone that can bring those 2 together to create a fusion of sorts that no country will want to fuck with. Freedom of expression, ideas, etc IS what made this country great. Both sides are necessary to make the machine move, but attempting to put a cap on that is just stupid so conservs should try to have more of an open mind.

We have been the smuggest nation in the world and you know what they say, 'pride comes before the fall'. What we don't need is a leader that just wants to stroke his own ego and has zero humility, that is NOT a leader I don't care how many hotels you own. Maybe Donny boy can be salvaged as he seems to have been humbled by the job of leader of the free world but we honestly should try to be more supportive as non-trump people because he is the guy in charge. I refuse to believe someone can be as oblivious and delusional as he is.

Forgive me, but I don't think mainstream conservatism is compatible with even moderate liberalism these days. The right seems to be motivated by white identity politics, the false notion that the system is biased against Caucasians in favor of minorities, science denialism, ostracization of the "other" (gay, Muslim, trans, increasingly Jew), and anti-immigrant know-nothingism straight out of the 1850s. I don't think any of that can be reconciled with the kind of America I was to build for my children, and therefore, I don't believe in compromising with conservatives.

I don't claim to be very deep on the political spectrum, but I can safely say I've never heard this about Conservatives before. That just screams of the type of blame game that is going on though. "We're the victims, not you!" seems to be a popular rallying cry for both sides and it leads to just absolute chaos.
