I wrote a sketch where the setting is like an action movie, and a guy hops in a cab shouting "FOLLOW THAT CAR!" and it's the cash cab. Then it's a high speed chase but he's answering trivia questions along the way.

I would bet money that's happened, but if it IS an emergency like that, I'm sure the guy would act as a regular cab and get you there was fast as possible.

cash cab is all set up anyway so that'd never happen. you have to audition to get on the show, then you get to climb in the cab and act all surprised.
