Leon Balfour turned himself into police after attacking her at a North Lauderdale, pool party when she asked him and his friends to turn their music down...but party goers turned on her and told Leon to "throw her in"...that's when he picked her up and threw her on the ground..then dragged her into the pool along with her dog.. Leon apologized to her in court and was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and a nightly curfew as Nancy told the judge to go on easy on him and give him a lenient sentence.. Judge Elijah Williams called him "dead man walking" and Leon responded with "I mean this from the bottom of my heart that i had no intention of inflicting any pain or harm on you" and Shekita Johnson, Leon's mother was very apologetic for what her son did and convinced him to himself in.. Nancy said "What he did was a very cruel thing. Very cruel. Very inhuman". Then she turns to him and says "You have so much ahead of you. You're a young kid. You've got college. You got hopes. You got dreams and you know what, unfortunately this will follow you forever." But Nancy had forgiveness in her heart and didn't want to ruin Leon's life and begged the judge to give him community service.. Nancy suffered bruises on her arms and had undergone surgeries on her hip and heart and was frightened when the incident happened. But despite the traumatic experience, she saw Leon with a promising future, even if he did a stupid thing.. On the way out of court, Nancy waved her finger at him before touchingly grabbed his chin..
