There's a very real chance that IGN will pull an EA and drain Humble for all it's worth before casting it aside as a withered, broken husk of its former glory, but that's not a guarantee. Humble may yet be able to continue unchanged. What is a guarantee, though, is that IGN as a media outlet now has a very significant and obvious conflict of interests to deal with. They aren't going to be able to review any Humble-published game without facing serious accusations of bias (and very legitimate ones, not just the "I don't like what you said so you're biased" way such accusations often get thrown around), and any review of a game that ends up in a Humble Bundle shortly after the review is released is going to come under heavy scrutiny. IGN's reviews weren't exactly the most credible thing to begin with, but this could be a death sentence for them as a media outlet. Granted, that could be what they're going for. I'd be surprised if IGN's been doing well, given how thoroughly they've been forgotten, so maybe this is just their way of abandoning the media ship and switching to another part of the industry that will make them more money.
