i've been watching it on Hulu and i do like it for the most part, but the amount of pop culture references and society references to things from the 90s to now are getting pretty tiresome. the show is set 400 years into the future. there really isn't any reason that the whole crew would be watching an episode of Seinfeld on the bridge monitor, or that characters can recite Beyonce lyrics and car rental company slogans. it's all just cheap, forced humor. i wish they would tone that down a bunch.
