There's very limited combat in the mines, but it doesn't amount to anything more than clicking to swing your weapon. This game's combat is about as weak as combat gets. And no, you can't wreak havoc on the village.

It's a fantastic game, but the combat is easily the weakest part.

I glance at it's Steam page every now and then. It always catches my attention briefly and I go through the screenshots. But it's never quite enough to convince me, as they don't really give you a good grasp on the scope of the game or anything, beyond it just being a life simulator; which is fine, but I'd like a few more details.

As for wiki, I wouldn't even know where to start. I already have a decent concept of what the game itself is.

It's a great farming simulator in a similar vein to Harvest Moon with some extra features like the mining, combat, fishing, relationships, etc., all of which are nice to have but aren't especially well-developed. They just give you fun distractions outside of farming.

If you want a peaceful resource gathering farming game while you build relationships with the community then this game is for you!

This game probably isn't for me lol

Kind of a shame, because all it really needs is just a bit more freedom and flexibility in the kind of character you want to be. This seems lost on a lot of RPGs these days :(

So the only thing Harvest Moon doesn't have from that list of "extra" features is combat.

Actually yes, you can invest in the local Walmart early on which changes the main quests/outcome of the game for the "bad" ending. Yay corporate america!
