I keep getting to the third phase and dying, there's no room to move around and so many things to damage you

The best thing I've learned about easy mode is that it can help you recognize a few of the patterns used so you can get accustomed to them before going to normal where they throw more stuff at you. You don't fight the final forms of bosses in easy mode though.
