The open world initially made me groan but its fairly unintrusive if you want to just go through the main game

The game layout is like Assassins Creed but with a modern military aspect

That premise sounds dumb but its probably why I was able to get into it so quickly

I've played about 11 hours with @yemmy
We're having a good time, it's a good mix of difficult missions and stuff you can do to kill time
Recommend playing with 2-4 players

Got it for free when I bought my computer.

It's....incredibly boring and unbelievably repetitive. The first 10 hours or so are pretty good, as the gameplay that's there is pretty solid. But there's just so little of it, despite having such a massive map. Probably 70% of the game is just "go here, do the same thing you've been doing for 10 hours, then go there and do the same thing again..."

Also the story is very predictable.

The game doesn't really diversify much in terms of enemy variety from when it begins and the mission diversity also starts repeating very quickly from zone to zone. I really only finished it because I was playing through it with my friend, if it was me alone I would've dropped it way before I finished it.
