Not at all. But I can't say that for sure because I don't play stealth games. Call it ADD or a typical millennial attention span, but I just don't have the patience for games like that.

I'm okay at them but I generally avoid stealth games because I try to be a perfectionist and it makes it less fun. I can't really help it

Yes, but I dont have fun because of the perfection required.

I love MG but hate how you can play your way but get penalized if you play anyway but pure stealth.

Depends.

I'm good at MGS and Arkham but there are lots of stealth games out there that being good at isn't a thing.

Like, "being good at" the game is knowing (because this is your 30th try) that the dude is about to turn around with no warning because he always does when he reaches that tree.

I'd say so. Stealth games are what I tend to play most. Beat Dishonored 1 and 2 about 7 times in the last year.

I'm bad at them too, but it's because I'm too much of a pussy. Stealth games give me a lot of anxiety because I get really nervous about being caught. I take forever to do anything and most of the time I can't get the timing for my movements right. My preference in games is to just run in guns blazing and use cover when I need time to recover.

Yeah I really enjoyed games like the thief series, hitman, splinter cell, deus ex (stealth playthrough), styx master of shadows, etc. stealth is my preferred playthrough method when available in a game. I also like rogues in rpgs

Yup, it fits my style of being incredibly conservative with my items and movements.

However, I hate when you're overly shoehorned into it like the first Splinter Cell where you couldn't even take down one guy alone without losing.
