I'm 6'3", but I'm already starting to see the first signs of the inevitable joint damage that stems from a lifetime of being too tall for the world around you.

Way too many tall people wind up having knee problems later in life.

Ironically, back pain tends to be more of a short person problem. Though there's probably also all sorts of back-related issues that come from spending decades slumping because you're trying to make yourself look smaller or stay out of people's way.

It various from country to country. When I went to Sweden I felt like a normal guy. Everyone was as tall as me or taller. In India its fairly rare to see someone taller than me.

5'8" I'm told it's super average for females but they almost all seem shorter to me. Maybe it's just this area?

I'm 6'1". Funny thing is, I've had a lot of people comment on my height, but i don't feel like I'm particularly tall. If I were 6'4" or above, I could see it being worth a mention, but at 6'1"? Doesn't sound right to me.
