Like I just never understood. Everyone seems to think that they have this huge influence on everything they do. I'm not saying SJW's don't exist and that a lot are just overreactive idiots but I feel people give them more presence than they actually do. Like I rarely ever see shit like "this offended me for not being inclusive enough" on Reddit and I'm on there more than here these days. There's people like Anita or Zoe Quinn but when's the last time they've been relevant?

Or better yet like in that topic with Thomas the Tank Engine, everyone freaked about that little statement but I don't even think anyone even read the article, because it didn't even bring up SJW's or have any sources or pictures of the show being criticized. There's also the fact that that show hasn't been popular among the younger audience for years. I know since I was in love with that show for all my childhood. That series has remained prevalent.

TLDR: Are people giving SJW's more significance than they have or am I missing something? I'd love to hear some responses as I've been genuinely curious for a bit now.

Sidenote: PLEASE reframe from turning this into some political melodrama and using insults like libcuck, Nazi, etc. or just plain Trump bashing for no reason.

Did they really start it though if people have been doing that for a long time and are now doing it with less success? We've never been freer when it comes to what is expressed in entertainment and such. We used to be Australia, but worse. I agree that things such as Affirmative Action should have a place in the work environment. If you are capable of the job, it's because you have the skills or ability to benefit and improve said job or company

I do slightly disagree with this though. I never really considered it SJW-like to just not want people to be assholes. Maybe I'm just too optimistic in the nature of people but I've always believed that it doesn't take much to just not be rude to be. Not to say that every little thing someone says should be G rated or that if you say something a little insensitive you should be mocked or scorned for it. But maybe it's just me idk.
