I think it's the most delicious food in the world, and the prices for their pasta is actual below price with Olive Garden.

On Sunday I went there and got the Four Cheese Tortellacci, which is absolutely to die for, and then a take home order of pepperoni bread, and it cost $8.00.

When you go into regular entrees, it does get a lot more expensive. Like the pepperoni pizza is about 10 bucks on its own (totally worth it though).

Is there any other chain that comes close?

There was one in my mall that used to be really, really good... at least by chain restaurant standards; sadly it seemed to hit a gradual decline around the time I started middle school (a little over ten years ago), and eventually closed down like 5-6 years ago.

I've never actually been to Romano's. I just remember seeing the commercials about "tortellacci" and like everyone else going WTF is that?

I mean, since it's a chain place, it's all basically just microwaved food with no heart or nuance behind it; that being said, the portions were at least good for the buck back in the good ol' days, but eventually the prices just got too high while the standards simultaneously got lower, with disastrous results. Kind of a depressing thing to post, tbh, since most *legitimately good* restaurants in the Twin Cities area take a few days in advance to get even a decent reservation for.
