Fortunately none of my cousins are hot.

First I'd need a hot cousin -- or a female cousin at all -- but, in general, I probably wouldn't pursue anything with a cousin and, if I did, the only reason I'd disclose is if it turned into a longer relationship.

My aunt married her fourth cousin, iirc, which they didn't find out about for like 30 years... My dad's paternal uncle also married his maternal aunt, so his cousin is basically a sibling genetically.

Depends on the side of the family. If you share an uncommon last name, it might drive you to check your genealogy.

Otherwise, fifth cousins would mean you'd need to what, like a sixth generation American or Canadian? Most peoples' history doesn't go that far back. Granted, if you're in your ethnic homeland, I guess it's a more common scenario.
